Survey fees and associated costs:


Hourly charge rate:
£54.00 plus VAT per hour. Charged for all time associated with travel, site inspection and report preparation.

Unit rate:
£9.00 plus VAT per unit. One unit is ten minutes. Charged for all subsequent 'off site' work associated with the property such as telephone calls, further correspondence etc.

Vehicle mileage rate:
40 pence plus VAT per mile. Charged for travel to and from site starting from our nearest office.

Laboratory investigation fees:
Our standard survey procedure is usually sufficient but there are occasions when laboratory analysis is necessary. Should this be required the following charges would apply:

* LAB.1: Plaster soluble salt (chloride and nitrate) salt analysis. £32.00 plus VAT per sample.
* LAB 2: Plaster/wall air dry (hygroscopic) and capillary moisture analysis. £32.00 plus VAT per sample.
* LAB 3:  Vertical salt and moisture profile. £175.00 plus VAT per single profile.
* LAB 4:  Render composition analysis. £85.00 plus VAT per sample.
* LAB 5:  Timber analysis for type, presence and quantity of insecticide. £95.00 plus VAT per sample.
